Established in June 1999 and incorporated in March 2007, the Garwyn Oaks (GO) Northwest Housing Resource Center is a comprehensive HUD certified homeownership counseling and community based non-profit organization.

Our mission is ensuring healthy, strong neighborhoods by equipping potential and existing residents to obtain, maintain and/or retain their homes successfully.

• We equip homebuyers to purchase, and homeowners preserve and retain their homes through pre and post purchase homeownership education, counseling and technical assistance.
• We administer the Healthy Neighborhoods Initiative, a community preservation program in Garwyn Oaks, Hanlon and Howard Park communities in Northwest Baltimore City. (more)
• We enhance neighborhood appearance, sustain home value and strengthen community capacity by engaging residents in block beautification and building activities.
• We increase awareness and selection of Northwest Baltimore City neighborhoods by promoting our communities of choice.
