Hanlon—a neighborhood that still embodies its original suburban attributes—charming, green, historic, traditional and walkable.  This established neighborhood in Northwest Baltimore consisting of 55 tree-lined blocks bordering Gwynns Falls Parkway to the South, Garrison Blvd to the West, Powhatan Avenue to the North, and Hanlon Park to the East. The Hanlon neighborhood began as a part of the Vickers estate back around the turn of the century, and was later developed into several large estates and summer homes.  The area was later established as a suburb of Baltimore City.  Hanlon residents can boast of having a City park, tennis courts, and a lake in their backyard, with a major shopping mall, state university, and the Maryland Zoo within minutes from their doors!  Hanlon is one of Baltimore’s Healthy Neighborhoods communities, and welcomes you to live, play, and grow with us!
