Location: The Garwyn Oaks community boundaries are Woodhaven Avenue to the north, Gwynns Falls Parkway to the south and Garrison Blvd to the east and Chelsea Terrace to the west.

Housing Style: The area is characterized by medium to large detached two and three story wood-frame homes in the colonial, traditional, Victorian, and cottage styles, dating back to 100 years.  There are also some two-story brick town houses.
