The Center provides information and referral on home buying and rehabilitation financing programs.
- Pre-purchase
We conduct monthly homebuyer workshop, homeownership counseling and provide access to city, state, and federal homeownership loan and closing costs programs and resources for persons buying in Baltimore City. - Post-purchase
We enable residents in 3 Northwest Baltimore Communities (Garwyn Oaks, Hanlon and Howard Park) to make affordable home improvements through the Healthy Neighborhoods programs. Program provides low interest home improvement/renovation loans, up to $10,000 matching rehab grants, and block beautification grants.
- Mortgage Delinquency/Foreclosure Prevention
We provide counseling and technical assistance to help homeowners behind in mortgage payments improve their financial picture and homeownership status. See our Foreclosure Services
- Community Marketing
We increase awareness and selection of Northwest Baltimore neighborhoods by promoting our communities as homeownership communities of choice and advocacy of partner communities.
